Books to Buy Before You Go Black Friday (Christmas) Shopping

I'm running off to Thanksgiving dinner with family, so I'm afraid I can't complete this blog post just yet. BUT I wanted to catch you before you spend all your money on Black Friday nonsense! Use a few bucks to support an excellent writer for the holidays. Each of these books was written by a woman I know personally and admire. Admittedly, I haven't read them ALL yet, but these women are 100% worth supporting. I'm working my way through them, but so far, their writing has been absolutely hilarious and inspiring.

Each link goes to the Amazon page, so you can add it to your wishlist, or buy it directly. (None of these authors asked me to do this.)

Three-Year-Olds Are A**holes, by Sarah Fader
This book is for the mother in your life, most especially the mother of small children. A short read, so even the most exhausted of your mommy friends will appreciate it! Cute and illustrated.

Stigma Fighters Anthology, Vol 1, compiled by Sarah Fader
This book is a compilation of submissions from the amazing non-profit organization Stigma Fighters, founded by @TheSarahFader, my personal friend and most accepting person on Earth.
(I'm in this book, so you definitely want to support that!)

Fightball: Dying of Suck, by Kris Wehrmeister (@PrettyAllTrue)
One word: HILARIOUS. If you have ever found yourself enjoying quotes from my kids, you NEED to read this book. Kris' children are hysterical. I've been reading her blog for years, and I love her writing and her girls to pieces. This is one where I can't wait for a sequel.

Lessons from the End of a Marriage, by Lisa Arends (@StillLearning2b)
The story of my friend Lisa's divorce is amazing. Her husband left her via text message, leaving her to figure out what on earth happened... the things she found, and the insight she acquired along the way is nothing short of inspiring.

Baby Fat, by Pauline Campos (@Pauline_Campos)
I'm dying to read this one. I'm afraid I haven't yet (stupid holidays cramping my style), but everything I've read from Pauline has been amazing, and this is destined to be the same. Reviews so far are extremely enticing! Pauline is the hardest working woman/mother, with the biggest heart. I just love her.

Running Home, by Julie Hutchings (@HutchingsJulie)
Ok, I admit I haven't read this one yet either. But Julie Hutchings is a wonderful human being with HILARIOUS tweets, and she comes highly recommended. You and I will have to give this one a try together.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! (& all the other days after!)
